The pipeline is failing due to another bug related to the make test-all which is fixed as part of #336. Since this PR only fixed the gorelease part and it's working again and the failure in the pipeline is unrelated to this change will go ahead and merge the PR to unblock the other pending PRs (#332 and #336).
