Hello,

I have a 300W Solar Cell laying around and I want to use it wit yout MPPT-Design.
The problem: it has about 40V maximum.
Where is the 25V limit, I mean the mosfets can handle 55V...

Is the Problem D2 ( the MOSFET-Diver ), because it is directly conneted to the solarcell Voltage?
A Solve would be to just use a LM2596 Buck converter and drive D2 with that voltage..

Or is it somewhere else?

Sorry for my (hopefully not so) bad English.

Gerne auch in Deutsch ;-)

Hi,

I thought of something like this...

I don't know if i could run this thing with that schematic on 40V or if something else would be damaged at this voltage level or if it would work flawlessly fine...

best regards
Mark
