OS/2 is still around and maintained (under the name ArcaOS) and people still use it but there hasn't been a free version of C-Kermit for OS/2 since around 1996 or possibly earlier. Since late 1995 OS/2 support was exclusively maintained as part of the commercial Kermit 95 product.

That code is all still present in this repository but was last built with some version of the IBM VisualAge compiler for OS/2 in the early 2000s for OS/2 Warp 3/4. There is a reasonable chance given the right compiler it will build again without too much effort - provided changes to support newer versions of Visual C++ and C-Kermit haven't broken things.

But the VisualAge compiler isn't freeware and I don't have a copy of it so Porting to OpenWatcom (#7 ) is the path forward here. And even if a copy of the VisualAge compiler was found OpenWatcom would still be the preferred option as its open source and available to anyone.
