Release 2.18.0 #64
Comments
Woot. I believe that there is a significant-ish issue around pickle-5
currently being worked on in dask/distributed#3639
<https://github.com/dask/distributed/pull/3639/files> that we may want to
be aware of for this release.

If there are no objections, I'd like to do a release for dask and
distributed later today

Yeah I'd prefer we hold off until that fix lands. Sorry for the delay. |
We could also release now and then do a micro release after that fix gets
in if it's going to take a while. @jakirkham do you have a sense for how
long it will take?

No problem, I'll wait until that PR is merged |
It sounded like the goal was to release later in the day anyways. So I doubt this holds things up much. The fix has already been tried by two people with the issue and confirmed to fix it. There is a test covering it as well. Mostly Martin and I were going through a finer detail review. |
PR ( dask/distributed#3639 ) is in. Should be good to go. Sorry again for the hold up. |
Also happy to help here per usual 🙂 |
Closing as dask and distributed 2.18.0 is out. Thanks all! |
Thanks James! 😀 |
If there are no objections, I'd like to do a release for
dask
anddistributed
