Data Analysis of Brazilian Education 🏅 🏆

Project Description: Data Imersion was a data analysis competition organized by Alura with thousands Data Science students.

The objetive of this project was analyze public education data. My analysis aim was evalute how social situation is correlated to students performance. My project was chosen as winner by Atila Iamarino , brazilian biologist researcher


Time Series - COVID-19

Project Description: This project consists of analyzing COVID-19 contamination in Brazil and how Amazonas state was different from other brazilian states.

Main Techiniques: Data Analysis, Time Series techiniques (as decomposition Time Series, Stationarity test, autocorrelation, etc.). Holt Winters, ARIMA and Prophet algorithms.


HIV and AIDS Data Analysis

Project Description: The aim of this Data exploratory project is analyze how government initiatives helped in HIV contamination in Brazil.


School Bullying - A Descriptive Statistics Perspective

Project Description: With some descriptive statistics concepts, the aim of this project is to analyze how bullying can affect kids and teenagers in school environment.


House Prices - Advanced Regression Techniques

Project Description: The aim of this project is to analyze a dataset in order to develop a machine learning model and predict house's sale price. The dataset is available in a "Getting Started Competition" in Kaggle (link available above).

Main Techniques: a complete pipeline Machine Learning model. Data Analysis, feature engineering and selection, Machine Learning model. Boruta, Linear Regression, Random Forest and XGBoost algorithms.


Web Scraping and Data Analysis

Project Description: The aim of this project is to analyze the mains skills required in some jobs position in the Data field. To do so, it's divided into two parts:

  1. Data collection
  2. Web scraping and data analysis.

Customer Segmentation Analysis

Project Description: In this project, i went through Data cleaning and data analysis. There's a section for the Cohort chart and also an RFM table. Then, based on the founded insights, i built some clusters using the K-means algorithm.


Data Visualization - Dash & Plotly

Project Description: Using Dash and Plotly from Python, i built an interactive Dashboards about car accidents in Brazil. A short demo of the project is available in this post on Linkedin.
