A Chrome extension that keeps your privacy and saves bandwith by removing url shorteners, redirects and click trackers from your links.

Installing from Source

1. Clone the repository: git clone git://github.com/codrineugeniu/chrome-unshortener
2. Navigate to chrome://chrome/extensions/ and enable Developer Mode.
3. Choose "Load unpacked extension"
4. Navigate to the directory you just cloned (should open with Chrome, otherwise try dragging/dropping the file into Chrome) and follow the prompts to install.

Using the extension

When browsing, right click on a url and select "Unshorten link". Something should appear on the top right side of the page.

Customization

Feel free to edit css/style.css if you don't like the included styling.
