Search bar not focused - Youtube Homepage set as Search

If you set the Youtube Homepage (thanks for that feature!) to "Search" you wont get the cursor focused on the search bar, once you open the page.

So the user can not just type away, they have to manually move the mouse cursor to the search bar, click, and can only then type.

1.) Set Search as Youtube Home
2.) Open Youtube

CURRENT:

3.) Type and find no text appearing

EXPECTED:

3.) Type and find text to appear.

done. you can test it. the feature still loads the home page invisible. alternatively one could just recreated a search form (with or without suggestions) you might like better to check "2." here? : #1565

OK, it does not work when I open a new tab, that loads it as its default page.

Example:
I open youtube.com
It works

Example 2, failing:
I configure my browser to open youtube.com, when I open a new tab.
It seems the extension does not interact at this point yet, so the behavior is not changed

This results in a non-focus into the search bar from Youtube. The focus is elsewhere

Forget it. Its probably out of reach, and more an issue of my browser.
