This version of the gateway will be installable by non-developers and usable for the expected IO workloads.

This should be complete and stable enough for prospective users to try it out, but won't be complete enough to use in production.

Significant features required for production use might be missing, possibly including transport security, failover, etc. It may not be distributed the way Ceph packages usually are.
