Install the gem and add to the application's Gemfile by executing:
$ bundle add currency_coin_converter
Or add in your Gemfile
gem 'currency_coin_converter'
Run in console
bundle install
If bundler is not being used to manage dependencies, install the gem by executing:
$ gem install currency_coin_converter
To use this gem, you need to set up an initializer for the Exchange Rate API key:
# This should be placed before the application tries to get the exchange rate.
CurrencyCoinConverter::Base.api_key = <your exchange rate api key>In your main file you can use
require 'currency_coin_converter'
amount_in_euros = CurrencyCoinConverter::Base.convert(100, from: "USD", to: "EUR", round: 3)
puts amount_in_euros
