USB Boot image

Requirements

1. USB thumb drive
2. Free image tool (all operating systems) https://www.balena.io/etcher/
3. drive-shred-boot-image-v0.0.1.iso

How to use

1. Open up Etcher
2. Select the drive-shred-boot-image-v0.0.1.iso file as the "Selected Image"
3. Plug in USB
4. Image
5. With the computer to wipe powered off, plug the USB into computer.
6. Power on the computer and Press F12, F10, Delete or whatever key let's you select the boot device
7. Select the USB drive. This works for BIOS and UEFI. If you have a choice, choose UEFI, it's a faster wipe.
8. The computer will power down as soon as all the disks are wiped. (This can take many hours or days, depending on how big and fast the drive is)

NOTE: You can remove the USB drive as soon as wiping begins. You can plug into another computer to start wiping that drive.
