Deploying Linux to Linux

Regular deployment

• Install the official version of Qt

• Deploy your application

qtdeploy build desktop

You should find your deployed application inside the deploy subfolder.

Please use the *.sh file to start your application.

PkgConfig deployment

• Install your system package managers version version of Qt

• Deploy your application

qtdeploy build desktop

You should find your deployed application inside the deploy subfolder.

Docker deployment

• Install Docker: https://store.docker.com/search?offering=community&type=edition or using a package manager

• If necessary run docker as root

• Pull the target image

docker pull therecipe/qt:linux

• Deploy your application

qtdeploy -docker build linux

You should find your deployed application inside the deploy subfolder.

Please use the *.sh file to start your application.
