When using Hosted UI, users are logged out silently

When using the host cognito sign on UI, users get logged out due to the validity of the token but the state on the UI doesn't reflect that.

I am still seeing the original issue reported here. There is no indication on the UI of what went wrong and all of a sudden the API list stops populating. This is very confusing.

Here is a screenshot of what happened this morning. I was logged in last night and left the browser on a different page on the site. I clicked on the "API" link at the top. The page switched to the API page showing the last API that was loaded, but it is apparent from the page that I have been logged out behind the scenes. Clicking on any other pages then takes me to a completely blank page, no content at all.
