Deploy a full-stack e-commerce web application on Azure using scalable and resilient cloud services. The application should leverage Azure services like Virtual Machines, App Service, Azure SQL Database, Blob Storage, Load Balancer, and Application Insights for monitoring.


Architecture Overview

  • Frontend: React (or Angular) hosted on Azure App Service.
  • Backend: Node.js (or Python/Java) running on Azure Virtual Machines or Azure App Service.
  • Database: Azure SQL Database for transactional data.
  • Storage: Azure Blob Storage for static assets (e.g., images).

Steps to Implement

1. Create Azure Resources

  1. Resource Group:

    • Create a resource group to organize all Azure resources.

  2. Azure SQL Database:

    • Deploy a managed SQL database for e-commerce transactions.

  3. Blob Storage:

  5. App Service:

    • Deploy the frontend and backend on Azure App Services for managed hosting.

  6. Load Balancer:

    • Set up an Azure Load Balancer to distribute traffic across multiple instances of the backend.

2. Deploy the Application
