Change background color option to match the terminal colorscheme

I want to change the default black background color to match my terminal colorscheme.

Is there any option to change it on compiling, which section if any?

Hi, Thanks for your interest in the project. I would also like to be able to do this. Unfortunately, the way I wrote the code is that everywhere it is assumed the background is black. For example, the way I fade the background is to multiply the colour values by a number < 1.0 (from memory). That said, now that we use SDL2 to render, there may be some fancy trick to make the black "transparent" and render over a background. But, I don't know enough about alpha channels or SDL to do that. It would then happen in the `sdl_blit` function in `render.c`. I'll leave the issue open in case you or anyone else sees how to implement it.
