[📑 Docs]: Update links to AsyncAPI Docs Board #1415
Comments
Welcome to AsyncAPI. Thanks a lot for reporting your first issue. Please check out our contributors guide and the instructions about a basic recommended setup useful for opening a pull request. |
Hey @alequetzalli , I'd be happy to work on this issue myself. Here's a clarifying question: the Get started contributing to AsyncAPI Docs Today section in 601 mentions "onboarding help". What would that mean and should I wait before opening a PR? Thanks and regards, |
I received an email notification about your comment on this issue, but I can't see any comment here. Please let me know in case you've already started working on this. :) Best regards, |
Yes, I wanted to work on this issue but you can work on this issue if you want to😊 |
Great, thanks a lot! |
I am that onboarding help 😄✌🏽. Essentially, you send me a DM in the AsyncAPI slack workspace, and I give new docs contributors the required onboarding steps before I assign a new docs task.
Excellent question! For this issue, I would say to go ahead and open that PR. You helped identify a bug; the Docs project board link is outdated, pointing to the old board that hadn't migrated to the most recently offered in GH. Thank you for opening an issue; it completely slipped my mind to update this in our docs when I had to migrate the old board over! Yes, to confirm, this is indeed the updated docs project board: |
What Dev Docs changes are you proposing?
Hi there,
The Overview pages in sections Concepts, Tutorials, Tools, Guides, and Reference of the docs include links to the AsyncAPI Docs Board where doc contributors can search for open issues. However, all the links point to https://github.com/orgs/asyncapi/projects/8 which is closed.
I suggest updating the links to point to an open docs board - https://github.com/orgs/asyncapi/projects/12.
Hope this is helpful! Would be happy to also work on this if possible.
Best regards,
Sveto
