Description

This issue is a follow-up discussion from PR #1191 where we want to remove https://github.com/asyncapi/website/blob/master/pages/docs/tools/index.md from the website repository so that we have a central place for the Tools repository, i.e., https://asyncapi.com/tools. All the community members should be aware of this major change so they won't get confused regarding the page change on the website. Moreover, the Tools Dashboard will be improved in further contributions to add and update more features to the page and allow users to use the Dashboard effectively to find the required list of tools.

Also, to avoid duplication of content between 2 pages on the website, we hereby want an open discussion regarding removing the AsyncAPI Tool List from the Overview Tools page at https://asyncapi.com/docs/tools, thus updating the list of tools at https://asyncapi.com/tools.

I recommend Akshat (or someone) makes a social media post from both the official AsyncAPI LinkedIn and Twitter accounts to announce the new Tools Dashboard replaces the AsyncAPI Tools List from Docs. Then I would also make that same announcement in our Slack 04_tools channel.

I think that having opened this issue and making a formal announcement in the official channels discussed above should be enough to let the community be aware of this new improvement.

I recommend someone else should do this 😃. I've very ugly taste in terms of social media content and promotions. Hence, I prefer anyone having good knowledge and skills of handling social media should do that. I can provide necessary assets and information related to the Tools Dashboard.

Yeah sure, kindly do it 🙏. Do you think a blog is needed for the same?

DUDE YES

that's a perfect idea, and honestly.. such a big change deserves a blog announcement to help maximize the community overall visibility on this new enhancement

You can start making the posts right now only, as most of the blog is already prepared by me. So, you don't need to wait much for that 😅
