Why are certain routes not shown for some of my users?

With the release of paperless 1.14.0, the notion of user and group permissions was introduced, for instance including the permission to view documents or tags. In case you are not an administrator of the instance you are trying to connect to, your account may not have the permissions required for the app to fetch correspondents, documents or other entities. Because of this, some routes and views have route guards, which, based on your permissions, determine whether you are allowed to access a certain feature or not. If a route is greyed out or not working as expected, there is a good chance that you are missing the required permissions.
