I love it, but when I view the resulting page in markdown there seems to be an issue with some markup appearing (screenshot):

Markdown only handles a minimal amount of HTML, but Vitepress has no limitations, so if you look at the page in dev or preview it won't show the style block.. That said, I'll create a new stylesheet for it.
