when I typed mft -version I get:

MFT 2.1 (TeX Live 2022)
kpathsea version 6.3.4

Primary author of MFT: D.E. Knuth (MP changes by W. Bzyl).

This means I already have installed, right?

I then typed mft storage add but I get this, and I don't how what to do:

mft: Need exactly one file argument.
Try `mft --help' for more information.

@ZhenmeiOng it would be great if you could share the steps you followed to resolve the issue. Someone will find it helpful in the future. Also, I think we need a new command like "mft status" which shows the status of mft. Please feel free to start a new feature request if you want to work on that
