Deprecating vsphere_guest

The plan is to deprecate vsphere_guest (using pySphere) in-favour of vmware_guest (using pyvmomi). But currently the following functionality is missing in vmware_guest:

Please feel free to add features/bugs which are not available in vmware_guest as compared to vsphere_guest

Update

vsphere_guest is deprecated from Ansible 2.5 version.

We decided to - IRC meeting log

  1. Merge existing PRs and new PRs of vsphere_guest depending upon two facts - Community Reviews and Ansible Playbook -vvvv output.
  2. Set low priority to existing and new issues of vsphere_guest and migrate to vmware_guest which is replacement of vsphere_guest.
