Due to the summer holidays the activity was probably a bit lower than usual, but now that the summer holidays are coming to an end we would like to keep the Ansible VMware support against the light and see what issues we should be focusing on. A list of concerns and ideas is available at: https://github.com/ansible/community/wiki/VMware:-community-plan Anyone is welcome to add concerns or ideas on that Wiki page so we can have a discussion during the next VMware Working Group meeting on Monday 28/8. We would like to focus first on the various angles to these issues, before we can discuss solutions on how to tackle them best. |
Hello Everyone, I would like to call for help from community for various tasks such as PR review, feature request review and testing. I will be more than happy if someone can take a look into open issues and open PRs. Providing feedback on PRs and issues is most welcome. Look forward to have great collaboration in VMware SIG. Thanks in advance. |

We have started various new Working Groups and are looking into empowering more Working Group members that are actively helping with reviewing issues and PRs. With the upcoming Ansible v2.8 we would like to accelerate this effort also for VMware the coming weeks. If you already signed up previously, or you have a renewed interest in VMware integration in Ansible, please add yourself as a Member or Reviewer on the revamped VMware wiki page. |
Hello folks, Added myself to the wiki page |
We have quite some contributors on Github and users on IRC that may not know it yet, but may want to join the VMware Working Group or the upcoming weekly meetings. More information wrt. the VMware Working Group and its meetings is available from: https://github.com/ansible/community/tree/master/group-vmware
You can add yourself to the Working Group by adding a comment below or opening a PR against that page. In case you want to discuss an issue or a PR during the VMware WG meeting, add it to the meeting agenda and join the meeting !
