Q1. Is this safe?/My antivirus is flagging ReVox as dangerous!

ReVox is safe, given you've downloaded it from a trusted source (GitHub, Discord Releases channel). Due to the way ReVox handles hotkeys, some antivirus software will flag it as dangerous. This is a false positive - ReVox does not log keyboard inputs, nor does it send usage/personal information anywhere.

Q2. Why is my voice delayed?

Due to the nature of some of the effects available (namely autotune), a delay must be added to your voice. This delay should be approximately 40-50ms. If this is too much for your use-case (competitive gaming etc.), I recommend not using ReVox when playing such games.

(For audio techs: a 2048 buffer size is used at a 48000Hz sampling rate. When using autotune/pitch shifting, an extra buffer-delay is added to produce the best quality re-pitching)

Q3. The overlay doesn't show up in game!

The overlay does not work with games in exclusive fullscreen mode. Please set your game to run in borderless-windowed mode.
