- Bug cards should focus on the problem: “X is broken, steps to reproduce”.
- Fix bugs immediately if you can quickly, otherwise write a bug card for it.
- You can work on any bug if you have some spare time between cards.
- Comment on a bug if you see it happening e.g. link to a Zendesk ticket.
- Don’t leave Zendesk tickets open for bugs - solve them and reply later.
New bug cards go in a special section of the Icebox:
- Set a low / medium / high impact label - think risks and workarounds.
- Set a low / medium / high effort label - 1 day / 2-3 days / 1+ weeks.
- Add a comment / description to explain both ratings.
- Order first by impact, then effort - top card is high impact + low effort.
