- Split the client into service layers
- Refactor checkout to support continuing on drop
- Configure delayed drop via pool
Individual pieces of client functionality are now separate Service implementors.
When a connection is in progress, but is preempted by an idle or multiplexed connection becoming available, it can continue to connect in the background and add itself to the idle pool, avoiding wasting work.
This way it can be turned off if that is wanted.
