Thanks a lot @GeigerJ2 , I like this PR very much!
I believe this page deserves to be more visible, now it's kind of a circuitous route.
I would add an upper tab for it, right after How-To-Guide!
So like this:

This PR adds another panel to the RTD index page (compiled version from the change of this PR can be found here), like so:
Which then leads to a new page under the reference section that looks like this:
Originally, I wanted to have, e.g., "
aiida-shellon GitHub" as text of the button on the bottom that leads to the GitHub repository, however, that overflows the panel for some of them, such asaiida-submission-controller. So now it's just "Go to GitHub" for all of them. Added further plugins, such asaiida-firecrestin the bottom under "Honorable mentions". Please take a quick look at the page, @agoscinski and @khsrali, and let me know if you would improve something. Thanks!
