Libcanblf - does not read CAN_FD_MESSAGE

In blfapi.c (blfReadObject function) , if the mObjectType is BL_OBJ_TYPE_CAN_FD_MESSAGE , it is showing error .. does this library does not meant to read can fd messages ? Or is there any specific reason for not including FD message type in the mObjectType ?
