Telnet port closed

Why is the telnet port closed on the border router? The only port available is http, why?

Orion is based on 6lbr, we only provide a hardware for it. There are an example under contiki of telnet example, but we cannot provide to you help for this issue. As I told you, if you want we can change the Orion Router, tested here for correct functionality with ubidots example (and configured) to check if the problem is the Orion or your network. But, additional implementations we cannot offer support for free. How will I get another product (non-Zolertia) to appear on the Orion router? I think I may just experiment with a different device
