Description

Fixes #31847

How has this been tested?

  1. Create a post.
  2. Add "Latest Posts" blocks.
  3. Switch to "Grid view."
  4. Posts are displayed in grid view, and there's no error.

This is the first time that I'm reviewing so I would defer to someone else who has more knowledge about optional chaining and ensure that this is ok :)

That said, I tested it out using a ZIP built from the PR and I was unable to reproduce this error in #31847. I tried across a couple different themes too and when no posts exist in the database.

Admittedly, I have not used the optional chaining before and am not really grasping it after reading about it briefly.

That said, I tested it out using a ZIP built from the PR and I was unable to reproduce this error in #31847. I tried across a couple different themes too and when no posts exist in the database.

I can confirm this solves the issue — it would be great to have another set of eyes on the code just to confirm the approach.
