Installing on Desktop

Requirements

  • 64-bit Mac computer
  • 64-bit Windows computer

Installation

Windows Installation

Run the gorilla-player_X.X.X.exe file. Windows will display a dialog asking for your permission to install Gorilla. In Windows 10 the dialog will look as follows:

Just press "Yes" button to continue the installation. The installer should begin the installation process. Click on "Install" button

Once completed click on close button.

Mac Installation

Open the gorilla-player.dmg file and simply drag&drop Gorilla Player to your Applications.

After Gorilla get installed, open Gorilla Application and follow the instructions bellow.

Post installation steps

Read and accept our EULA in order to continue installation:

Select the options you would like to install and change paths if necessary.

Note: Make sure Xamarin Studio is closed before you try to install the add-in! Otherwise the add-in won't be installed.

Note: If Visual Studio is open while you install you might need to restart it in order to start using Gorilla.

Now that everything is in place, Gorilla will ask you to sign in (an internet connection will be needed).

Now everything is in place, you will need to sign in to Gorilla Player. An internet connection will be needed.

Just enter your email address you used to register for Gorilla Player subscription and the password you set.

Once you sign in in you will see a notification on the task bar telling Gorilla is ready:

Locating Gorilla Player on the task bar is simple, just click on the "Show hidden icons" button on the task bar and find Gorilla's icon:

Right click on Gorilla's icon to get more options:
