FLOM React

Containerized React version of the Folk Linguistic Online Mapping application. This application is designed as an open-source, customizable suite of survey tools for collecting mental maps digitally for linguistic research.

Built in collaboration with the University of Washington’s Department of Linguistics and Language Learning Center.

Quick start

Prerequisites

Install: docker-ce, docker-ce-cli, containerd.io, docker-compose-plugin, and yarn

• Docker Engine
• Docker Compose
• Classic yarn

Getting started

In the project folder run:

yarn init:dep
yarn init:secret
yarn prod:start

The “init” commands are only required the first time. An https proxy is highly recommended!
