we can have another npc to give materials for a weaker weapon |
nah i think what @rkoll55 means is we lock the god tier materials to npcs but only after the kill a boss |

do you have any level 2 specific npcs ? we can have them give pooop and toilet paper to reward player for getting to level 2 |
yea i have an npc which can probably give the player both materials |
currently we have 2 npcs in level 2 and 4 in level 1. maybe i can get one npc from level 1 to give the poop and an npc in level 2 to give the toilet paper |
sounds good ! technically the poop does nothing unless it has the toilet paper, so that'd be good and would techincally lock those weapons until level 2 - would be pretty cool game design/progression to see you're missing a material that you can only attain in level 2 |
awesome! yea it kinda gives the NPCs an important role in the game since the player can only gain access of those certain materials from the npcs |
Description
Task: Functionality of NPC giving Items
Feature: NPC + Dialogue
Creating a functionality where the NPCs are able to give items to the player. It consists of different NPCs giving a different kinds of items to the player after their interaction with them. The items could be weapons, materials, buffs, armour, and etc. The item will then be shown in the player's inventory where they can use the items on their own will.
