Artist-D Twinkie-2022.2.1

Based on (Marlin 2.0.9.3)

Standard Version

https://github.com/TwinkieXLII/artistd/releases/

PRO VERSION

https://github.com/TwinkieXLII/ArtistD-Pro/releases/

What does this mean? This is now the foundation we've been waiting for to add BLTouch and UART support in the next few weeks. Stay tuned.

##Change Log
For the Pro version the most striking enhancement is the removal of the JGMaker Tile interface and adoption of the native Marlin Color UI interface.

  • Both version have on-board EEPROM support. so no more SD cards to save your offsets and bed mesh.
  • Meatpack support: Paired with this octoprint plugin, you can new send compressed data over a serial connection. Reducing stutter and removing a communication bottleneck for faster printer/pi communication.
  • Fixed Duplication mode - This is what was preventing other upgrades in the 2.0.8.x and early 2.0.9.x versions of Marlin
  • MAJOR overhaul of motion system
  • Host Action Commands
    • Better Integration with octoprint
    • Load a print in octoprint, and now there is a menu option to start the print from the LCD as if you clicked start in Octoprint (only tested on octoprint 1.7.3)
  • Emergency Parser (Pro)
  • Better IDEX menus
  • Improved Arc Support. (see ArcWelder plugin)
  • Speaker Support (ask me how to play scooby doo)
