Is there a way in SMAP to filter DECODE localizations by detection probability? #226
-
Hello! I've been using DECODE for the past few months and it's been working very well for me! When my STORM data is nice and bright, my model usually has no problem fitting the data and detecting the vast majority of emitters with very high detection probability. However, when I train a model on data that is a bit more challenging, the fitting always results in a sizable number of emitters with low detection probability, as would be expected. My question is as follows: can I filter out the localizations with lower detection probability in SMAP? Is there a toggle somewhere in the "Render" tab in SMAP that would allow me to only render the emitters with high detection probability similarly to how I can choose to render only emitters within a range of localization precision values? I've looked around the SMAP GUI quite a bit in search of a filter option specifically for detection probability but I've yet to find it. Thanks in advance! |

@Abdullah12Husain Hey,
yes, of course. Simple click on OV -> filter, here you can filter by any arbitrary attribute (including probabilities or uncertainties).
Typically I filter to prob > 0.6.
