Pleasant Pigeons adds pigeons to Minecraft. They will occasionally drop items, and different pigeons will drop different types of items.
They're cute. They also scare spiders away, but them being cute is enough anyway.
Different types of pigeons will drop different items as their special item drop, and those are documented here in the wiki. This gives the player the ability to create a farm for these items using pigeons.

You can craft different accessories to put on your pigeons. Equip your pigeons with an accessory by right clicking it, and unequip it by shift clicking. You can read more about the accessories here.
As of version 1.3.0, you can configure the special drops of the different pigeon types, and the chance of drops happening. See this page of the wiki for more instruction.
As of version 1.5.0, you can configure what biomes pigeons will spawn in using tags. Refer to the tag page of the wiki for more information. Using the configuration file you can configure the settings of each tag. Refer to the configuration page of the wiki for more information.
