The document aims to explain all about the user notes, data, accounts, etc.

Offlie first

This app is offline first. It means that all your notes are saved on your computer. You can use Dataans without any limitations regardless of the network.

Just to remind you, the notes are not encrypted. All your notes are like regular files on your computer but with a pretty and convenient UI.

Accounts

We do not have any accounts. We do not collect users data.

Sync between devices

Currently, this feature is not supported but we plan to support it in the next major release.
