Abandoned. During launch and development of new TACC website, a better solution was found — "Align left" and "Align right" of a Figure or Blockquote, if used on a News/Blog article, will be offset left or right. Though Frontera will likely not migrate to News/Blog feature from Core-CMS, it hasn't received enough developer attention to leave any 3-year old GitHub issue open.

From TACC/Core-CMS-Resources#22

Important

If this task will not be done, then delete the related snippet!

Goal

Create a c-float-content component that shares styles with c-offset-content, except that the content is not offset.

Background

  1. Hedda's initial reaction to c-offset-content--left large offset was to not offset at all.
  2. Wesley conceived a c-float-content as a modular solution to have offset content that is… not actually offset.
  3. GitLab !10, the solution is decided to be that the offset should be less.
  4. Wes thinks a c-float-content may still be good idea.

Requirements

  1. The c-offset-content and c-float-content should share styles.
  2. The c-float-content has the same requirements as c-offset-content except that the content is not offset.
  3. Delete related snippet (last known identification: GL-11: New Component Float Content).
