This is a Flask-based web application that allows users to search for YouTube videos, channels, and playlists using a YouTube API key. Users can also manage their favorite searches, which are stored and persisted across sessions.
The Python and HTML code are generated using GPT-4.

- A valid YouTube Data API v3 key
- Clone the repository:
git clone https://github.com/SoumyaMishra/TinyTube.git cd TinyTube
- Create and activate a virtual environment:
python -m venv venv source venv/bin/activate # On Windows use `venv\Scripts\activate`
- Install the dependencies:
pip install -r requirements.txt
- Configure the YouTube API key:
- When you run the application for the first time, you will be prompted to enter your YouTube API key.
- The key will be stored in a config.json file.
- Run the Flask application:
python app.py
- Open your web browser and navigate to http://127.0.0.1:5000/
