For Windows, we use pthreads_win32 which is licensed under the LGPL.

See https://www.sourceware.org/pthreads-win32/copying.html for details.

Source code for pthreads_win32 is provided.

Example

See EasyThreadExample for examples.

There aren't many examples (only one 😢), but there will be plenty more as the library is fleshed out and matures.

TODO:

There is still work to do!

  • I need to make the API more error-proof by adding sanity-checks.
  • Add more examples!
  • Create tutorials on how multi-threading works.
  • Make EasyMutex.
