readout_comparison_analysis

PREREQUISITES

The analysis code provided here are very specific to the readout systems and uses their uniquely written libraries. In general we use the ROOT framework for visualization and fitting and we use the TTree datastructure wherever convenient.

klaus6b_channel_mapping.C: Creates a 2d histogram where channels attached to the same fiber can be deduced by visual inspection. This is important for use in klaus6b_resolution.C

klaus6b_resolution.C: Generates the ADC and time resolution histograms for at most eight fibers. Also generates the time interval between subsequent hits in a channel for deadtime studies.

citiroc_channel_mapping.c Creates a 2d histogram (or a list of histograms for multiple runs) where channels attached to the same fiber can be deduced by visual inspection.

citiroc_spectroscopy_reader_HG.C: Generates a .root file with histograms for each channel for each consecutive run from _list.txt file created by Janus software. This one is used for HG spectroscopy mode.

citiroc_spectroscopy_reader_LG.C: Generates a .root file with histograms for each channel for each consecutive run from _list.txt file created by Janus software. This one is used for LG spectroscopy mode, useful for measurements with source.

citiroc_peaks_HG.C: For chosen HG run find and plot photopeak positions. Make linear regression with ax + b coefficients with errors to use them in citiroc_gaus_HG.C.

citiroc_gaus_HG.C: For series of runs with changing HG parameter and using a,b parameters from citiroc_peaks_HG.C find the number of Energy N Channels corresponding to photoelectron energy.

citiroc_peaks_LG.C: For chosen LG run find and plot photopeak positions. Make linear regression with ax + b coefficients with errors to use them in citiroc_gaus_HG.C.
