I noticed that link stripping does not work on amazon. Is this intentional?

This parameter is just not in my black list, didn't know about it. I will add it. Thanks.

Unfortunately ref parameter is too common on different websites and is not always related to tracking. If I blacklist it it may break functionality on some of them.

I will think about implementing site specific blacklist parameters.

Thanks again for the quick reply, I actually wasn't aware that the ref-parameter is so common. In this case, site specific blacklisting does sound like the most logical solution. Are you aware of the "ClearURLs" Chrome extension? It seems the developer is also on Github (https://github.com/ClearURLs/Addon), so it might be worth checking out how he implemented this to save you some time :)
