How to create my own climate entity?

Hi all,
I would like to control my stove using my own temperature sensor, because with the onboard sensor, the stove turns off way too early. How can I do this with maestro_mcz? I would like to setup my own climate entity. The "heater" attribute of the climate entity has to be of type "switch", but maestro_mcz does not offer a switch - only a climate entity of its own.
Is it possible to connect the maestro_mcz climate to my own sensor?

The climate entity accepts the maestro_mcz climate entity as heater without problem. I should have tried it before posting here.
