variable is not used in tax-calculation logic; it just identifies the primary source of the filing unit's data as being either IRS-SOI PUF (=1) or CPS (=0). Because all the filing units in thecps.csv.gz
file would have adata_source
value of zero, that variable is not included in thecps.csv.gz
