The plugin allows you to completely remove comment-related features from your WordPress site's front-end and admin areas.
- Disable comments on all post types
- Remove comment-related widgets and admin bar items
- Hide comment-related pages and menu items in the WordPress dashboard
- Disable comment feeds and pingbacks
- Block comment-related REST API endpoints and XML-RPC methods
- Remove Gutenberg comment blocks
- Configurable settings to selectively enable/disable specific features
- Download the plugin zip file
- Log in to your WordPress admin panel
- Go to Plugins > Add New
- Click on the "Upload Plugin" button
- Select the downloaded zip file and click "Install Now"
- After installation, click "Activate Plugin"
- After activation, go to Settings > Disable Comments in your WordPress admin panel
- Configure the plugin settings according to your preferences:
- Disable Comments: Removes comment support from all post types
- Disable Comments on Frontend: Hides comment-related elements on the front-end of your site
- Disable Comments in Dashboard: Removes comment-related menu items and pages from the admin area
- Disable Comments in REST API: Blocks comment-related REST API endpoints and XML-RPC methods
- Click "Save Changes" to apply your settings
Q: Will this plugin delete existing comments? A: No, this plugin does not delete any existing comments. It only disables the comment functionality and hides comment-related features.
Q: Can I re-enable comments later? A: Yes, you can re-enable comment functionality at any time by deactivating the plugin or adjusting its settings.
