Certain background.png causes menu overlay to be pitch black instead of semi-transparent

Hey everyone,

I'm trying to make a theme for Onion OS but I'm running across a problem where the image I provide is causing the menu (whenever you press select) to come up with a pitch black overlay instead of being semi-transparent. Here's an example of what I mean:

I deduce that it is the background.png that is causing it after swapping out individual assets one at a time and testing them to see if I can replicate this.

My background does not appear to be larger in size then some images in other themes, the dimension is 640x480, and the format is PNG. I'm wondering if I am missing something here.

Thanks to UnBurn over on the Retro Game Handhelds discord server, the issue is caused by having an alpha channel in the PNG. If you remove the alpha channel, the overlay background will be semitransparent as intended.
