Meowgle 😼 - Cat Search Engine

Welcome to the Meowgle repository! This is a web application developed as the final project for the 3rd year of studies at SPŠE Ječná. Meowgle is a search engine for cats and provides information about various cat breeds. The name "Meowgle" is a combination of "meow" (the sound cats make) and "Google" (the popular search engine).

🚧 Not implemented:

  1. Local Storage I did not implement local storage because I did not find it useful for this project.

Technologies Used

Meowgle is built using the following technologies:

  • PHP: Used as the server-side scripting language to handle the backend logic.
  • jQuery: A JavaScript library used to simplify and enhance the client-side scripting.
  • JavaScript: Used for implementing interactive features and enhancing user experience.
  • Bulma CSS: A lightweight CSS framework used for styling the web pages.
  • HTML: The markup language used for structuring the web pages.

Features

  • Cat Search: Users can enter keywords or specific queries to search for cat breeds or related information.
  • Breed Information: Meowgle provides detailed information about various cat breeds, including their characteristics, origin, and temperament.
  • User-Friendly Interface: The web application is designed with a user-friendly interface, ensuring a smooth and intuitive browsing experience.
