Right now my main focus is building out Friend Renter, a personal business venture that I’m scaling from the ground up. It’s a rental marketplace platform where people can list and rent all kinds of items—from cars and boats to electronics and equipment.
I’m handling every layer of the stack:
- Server/API: Built with
Express+TypeScript, powered byMongoDB, with strong validation, auth, and security best practices. - Admin Portal: React-based dashboard for managing users, listings, bookings, and payments.
- Marketing Site: Clean, SEO-optimized Next.js site to drive growth and acquisition.
- Mobile App: A
React Nativeapp for renters and hosts to list, browse, and book on the go.
The goal is to create a smooth, secure rental experience that can scale beyond my local market. This project lets me push my MERN expertise further while stepping into mobile, payments, and marketplace dynamics.
