Motivation for this change
dosbox-staging attempts to modernize the DOSBox codebase by using current development practices and tools, fixing issues, and adding features that better support today's systems. https://github.com/dosbox-staging/dosbox-staging
Note on backporting: Probably needs munt 2.5.0 from unstable, 21.05 currently contains munt 2.4.1
