This PR provides two major updates to Tutorial/Broadband Waveguide Mode Converter with Minimum Feature Size:

  1. Additional details on the use of the subpixel-smoothing feature of the MaterialGrid object following subpixel averaging note #2385 and Regenerate markdown user manual from docstrings #2386.
  2. Type hints for all functions to improve readability.

Also includes some minor tweaks to the tutorial text and script.
