Fololimo is a comprehensive agricultural support platform designed to empower farmers in developing countries by providing real-time data, AI-driven insights, and IoT solutions to improve productivity and sustainability. The platform helps farmers adapt to changing climate conditions, offering tools for pest and disease management
- GeoLocation Support: Use geolocation to identify the location of the user by default.
- Soil API Integration: Send requests to soil APIs to gain insights on soil type and pH levels.
- Weather API Integration: Gain insights on the climate of the area and key factors, such as the onset of rains and seasonal changes.
- Farmer Budget & Land Size Input: Farmers may enter their available budget and land size to receive recommendations on suitable crops.
- AI Integration: Use Gemini AI to generate potential favourable crops based on the area and even suggest possible markets based on those crops.

Install dependencies

Start the app
npx expo start
In the output, you'll find options to open the app in a
- development build
- Android emulator
- iOS simulator
- Expo Go, a limited sandbox for trying out app development with Expo
You can start developing by editing the files inside the app directory. This project uses file-based routing.
When you're ready, run:
npm run reset-projectThis command will move the starter code to the app-example directory and create a blank app directory where you can start developing.
