I have deliberately left WS 2022 in this table as a reference, also that readers get aware about the progress and differences of WS 2022 and WS 2025 in this technology area.
It could be that customers on WS 2022 might choose upgrading to WS 2025 instead of AzL when they realize many of their features are included by now.

the previous version gave readers the impression that stretched clustering is still supported with Azure Local 23H2 and later. I have corrected that in a best possible way adding a sup note.
