The link needs correction in terms of linking to the GitHub page, Sorry I always have issues to understand the relative path to these internal references.

I have deliberately left WS 2022 in this table as a reference, also that readers get aware about the progress and differences of WS 2022 and WS 2025 in this technology area.
It could be that customers on WS 2022 might choose upgrading to WS 2025 instead of AzL when they realize many of their features are included by now.

the previous version gave readers the impression that stretched clustering is still supported with Azure Local 23H2 and later. I have corrected that in a best possible way adding a sup note.

based on discussions I got aware about this change. added sup to reflect the upcoming and important change / limitation

moved to sup 2 for improved readability as in fact both features are bound to specific hardware requirements.

added release, as readers had the impression WS 2025 is not yet available as Azure Edition. But it is available from Azure marketplace image

@Karl-WE We are in the process of doing significant changes to the Compare WS w/ Azure Local article. @sipastak is working on that using your ppt content :-). She will be looking at this and pulling this info in her private PR and will keep you updated.
